We keep in touch though he is no longer my therapist. Dr. Baer and I maintain a respectful friendship and we continue to work together to share our story. I admit I&#8217;ve felt there were times when I&#8217;ve needed a bit of extra help. Realistically, I\u00a0may always need someone to listen and hear me out at times. I&#8217;ve been through an exhausting life-changing journey to heal. I continue to do the best I can to manage life on my own. At times when\u00a0I start to fall a bit from\u00a0feeling overwhelmed or sad, I&#8217;ve learned how to\u00a0recognize\u00a0my own personal\u00a0warning signs and ask for help.
