I am one of 12 that live inside our adult\u2019s body. We are in therapy with an awesome therapist but sometimes it seems like it is taking forever to get to the point where everyone is at peace. It doesn\u2019t seem fair that we had to be abused for so long and then we have to go to therapy for so long to deal with what happened to us. You are a real trooper and an inspiration to us. I appreciate your kind compliments! Thank you!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>It takes time to heal.\u00a0 Please be patient and take care of yourself. We are all different and your system may need more time. My therapy lasted over eighteen years. Do all that you can to help your therapist understand you. I know that it&#8217;s not fair to need therapy for so long, but sometimes we have no choice but to do what&#8217;s best for us. I needed more time. So may you. But in the end it&#8217;s worth it!
