I am very sorry you went through all that you were forced to endure. Your story is moving, touching and daunting- my eyes have been opened and I pray that individuals going through a similar circumstance find sanctuary.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Jessica<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Dear Jessica,<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>How kind your thoughts are! I know it appears that God may allow such horrible things to happen.<span> <\/span>But I don\u2019t hold God responsible. People, my father and grandfather, created the abuse that hurt me, as well as others. I don&#8217;t believe it&#8217;s God&#8217;s fault that I suffered. I believe my multiplicity was a God sent coping mechanism. I believe God helped me survive by giving me the gift of dissociation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Abuse is abuse. There are many who continue to suffer without help. It saddens me to hear their stories. Of course, I&#8217;m sad that I was abused, but I&#8217;m grateful to be alive and able to encourage hope through sharing my story.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Thank you for caring and sharing.
