I believe Karen 1, like each of my alters, was simply one part of the whole. Like one piece of a puzzle, completed. Once Karen 1 merged within me, her memories blended and became mine. I no longer recall Karen 1&#8217;s individual uniqueness. That came with integration. The walls between my alters are now absent. \u00a0I am Karen 1 just as I\u2019m each of my other sixteen ex-alters.
