Why do you believe God chose you to stay?<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin:0;\"><span style=\"font-size:10pt;color:#444444;font-family:Arial;\">Mary Jo<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin:0;\"><span style=\"color:#444444;font-family:Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size:small;\">Dear Mary Jo,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin:0;\"><span style=\"color:#444444;font-family:Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size:small;\"><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin:0;\"><span style=\"color:#444444;font-family:Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size:small;\">I believe God has chosen me and has placed me here to make a difference in our world&#8211;to bring awareness to the horrific reality of childhood sexual abuse and what can happen to a child&#8217;s mind when betrayed by those who the child believes, loves, cares for, and trusts. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin:0;\"><span style=\"color:#444444;font-family:Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size:small;\"><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin:0;\"><span style=\"color:#444444;font-family:Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size:small;\">I believe my multiple personality disorder to be a God sent coping mechanism.\u00a0 I thank God everyday for saving me and for\u00a0allowing\u00a0me to share my\u00a0journey to healing,\u00a0with Dr. Baer&#8217;s help,\u00a0to make a difference in the lives of all those who suffer.\u00a0 I believe when something unthinkable happens, as in my being abused, it may seem impossible to believe one can overcome the scars caused from inner pain.\u00a0 But it is possible.\u00a0 It happened to me.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin:0;\"><span style=\"color:#444444;font-family:Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size:small;\"><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin:0;\"><span style=\"color:#444444;font-family:Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size:small;\">I do believe in tests of faith.\u00a0 I survived\u00a0by having faith, even when I wasn&#8217;t aware of it.<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color:#444444;font-family:Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size:small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin:0;\"><span style=\"color:#444444;font-family:Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size:small;\">God bless you,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin:0;\"><span style=\"color:#444444;font-family:Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size:small;\"><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin:0;\"><span style=\"color:#444444;font-family:Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size:small;\">Karen<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family:Arial;\"><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Comment by Mary Jo on November 2, 2008 3:25 pm Dearest Karen, One powerful journey!
